About

Hey! I’m George Albert.
For over six years, I’ve helped brands bring their ideas to life through graphic design, motion, strategy, and storytelling on the internet, shaping work for Instagram, TikTok and beyond.
I’m especially drawn to literature, small businesses and the quiet details of well-made things. My own channels and collaborations are a place to explore that interest through film, photography and animation. Creating thoughtful work for brands, products and ideas I genuinely believe are worth sharing.
Experience
Freelance
I've been working as a freelance videographer and designer since Feb 2025. I have built the branding for two companies; Heavy Lies, a mens jewellery brand, and Studio Zinser, an interior design agency. This meant designing their logos, colours, and font choices to make the brand tell the story they needed it to. Whilst building their branding I also helped give them a social media overview and templates to allow them to start telling posting. I also conceptualised the launch campaign photoshoot for Heavy Lies and acted as Director of Photography.
UGC/Content Creation
I started content creation in 2020, with a focus on literary spaces, creating under the name bookish.punk. With 14,000 followers across platforms I've worked with multiple publishing companies and other brands like Great Northern Rail to shoot and design engaging video content. In 2024 I was long-listed for the Rising Star of The Year Award at the Tiktok Awards. Creating content in my own time has let me sharpen my skills in video editing, motion design, photography and photo editing. As well as always being aware of trends and pop culture in social media spaces.
Loma Technologies
I worked for Loma from 2021, initially as a product designer to help build their customer facing product and design their UI/UX for their website. During this time I designed the brands logo, colours and typography. And I designed their website from low-fidelity wire-framing all the way to a finished product I could hand over to the companies engineers. Once the product and site were built I was offered to stay with the company and be their in-house social media manager and videographer. From here I built their online branding and created engaging video essay content for Tiktok and Instagram. As well as working with Influencer Agencies to collaborate on UGC content. Staying with Loma as the digital designer and social media manager also meant I was able to adapt the UI/UX when needed and continue to work in collaboration with the founder and engineering team.
